This release introduces a full email and communications platform: tenant-scoped release announcements, subscription topics, saved audience segments, GDPR self-service tools, and Liquid-based template rendering. These features give admins fine-grained control over who receives what, and give subscribers clear ways to manage their own data and preferences. • New release-announcement system with approval workflow and a public changelog feed • Subscription topics let contacts opt in/out of specific types of communication • Saved audience segments for precisely targeting campaigns • Self-service GDPR data export and erasure endpoints • Liquid-based email templates with safer, more predictable rendering |
New Release announcements with approval and rollup support Announcements are tenant-scoped and require approval before sending, with protections against duplicate sends. Related announcements can supersede or roll up into one another, drafts can preview their recipient list before sending, and a public changelog feed is now available. |
Subscription topics Contacts can be grouped into topics based on tags, and each topic has its own unsubscribe link so people can opt out of specific communications without unsubscribing from everything. |
Saved audience segments Build reusable audience segments using flexible rule-based logic over contact attributes, preview who's included, and bind segments to campaigns from a new admin builder. Segments can't be deleted while they're attached to an unsent campaign. |
GDPR data export and erasure Contacts can request a full export of their data or have their entire footprint erased, supporting data-privacy compliance. |
Subscriber list export Admins can stream a full subscriber list to CSV, with protections against spreadsheet formula injection and UTM tags automatically added to campaign links. |
Liquid-based email templates Email templates now render using Liquid syntax with legacy-compatible behavior, built-in size limits, and a strict mode for bulk sends, all backed by a single shared source of personalization data. |
